My family lived on a farm when I was growing up, and now that I am older and live on my own in the city, I really miss the animals! My parents kept chickens, pigs, and cows, and I learned lot about caring for animals while I helped them tend to the animals. Of course, we had a few fun pets, too, including our Collie dog who I had lots of fun teaching tricks, and a couple of cats. I had a hamster for a couple of years, and our cats loved watching him run around in his cage! I still love animals, so I decided to create a blog to share animal care tips based on what I learned on the farm growing up and additional experiences as an adult. I hope anyone with a pet will come back frequently, especially new pet owners!
